Where it all began

      Carl & I have been friends since I was in the fourth or fifth grade. As we got older, we quit talking and moved on with our lives. He took a job with a power company and I was in the process of surviving high school. His job took him to Key West and all around the state of Alabama to work and live. We lost complete contact for about 4 or 5 years. I had a small time job during the summer before my senior year and Carl received a job working with a crew close to home. In my town, everyone hangs out on our court square. One night I was up there and Carl showed up. We reacquainted but for once we were (secretly) attracted to each other. It was a week before my senior year began. He was having a party that night & I couldn't make it so he promised to have another one. The following weekend he kept his promise but I didn't drink so we just went riding. It all started there. I remember he kissed me on a back road & ever since then I've been his. We took it slow and just hung out for a few months to get our friendship back. Our friendship has now blossomed into a beautiful relationship that God has blessed us with. I thank God for him everyday and I hope it's God's plan for us to be together!


                    First night he met the parents as my boyfriend!
