So I mentioned Carl & I started our journey on the night he threw a party. Things have certainly changed since we got together. Carl was going to church but wasn't fully living for God like he should have been. I was in church every Sunday & Wednesday but I was a senior and had a lot of room for improvement. I invited Carl on a church trip to Judgement Journey in Lagrange, Ga. That night we both realized we should straighten up. It didn't happen in an instant. We went to Judgement Journey in October 2012 but quit drinking the night of Carl's birthday on February 5th, 2012. Soon after, Carl quit smoking as well. We now pray together instead of drinking together. We go to church instead of parties. We both experienced a great amount of spiritual growth during our first year of being together. We both had a great deal in helping each other live for God like we should.We have had a few problems & we always work them out by praying. I've learned a relationship centered with Christ is one that lasts. God has blessed us with a precious love many long for.
